WINDOW DISPLAY
In this project my goal was to convey a theme in my window display, I decided to take my project one step further and put a message behind my window.
I researched many hours on the effects of cultural appreciation in the “ boho “ trend and was able to create a display that not only showcased the transitional fashion with appropriation. My main focus was Indian textiles in this project and I was able to gain lots of knowledge as well as complete a summary of my work which is listed in the link below.
FLOOR PLAN MODEL
In this mock floor plan model project, our goal was to create a flow plan to better show off our work as if we were a designer wanting to implement our clothing in our store.
Along with thing this assignment I completed a one-page implementation guide on how the floor plan show be implemented
This project allowed me to better my skills in event planning and implementation as well as show case personal creativity .
NEWS LETTER
Color board
For this project the goal was to create a news letter that would in theory be sent out to stores holding our products. The news letter that carries on the theme of my projects through out my time at Johnson and Wales was about cultural appropriation and how to look out for it in the fashion industry as well as how to correct cultural appropriation.
In this report you will see, show casing my work with colors as well as my knowledge of color schemes and how they work together to create one idea.
Trend Book
My trend book showcases a collection of pieces put together from start to finish. This project helped me further my understanding of forecasting trends as well as collecting and managing as well and piecing together all aspects of an outfit.
Career fit project
In this project, I explore how to apply my knowledge as well as my education to my overall job search.
