Ashville mission trip
In 2013 I attended multiple mission repreats with the United Church of Chapel hill, where we helped the surrounding community with labor projects as well as assisting in soup kitchens and food banks.
Mayors award 2017
During the summer of 2017, I was honored with the silver level of the mayor's award for my work with the Durham Rescue mission. I was able to assist in the outreach of the Durham Rescue mission while also gaining face-to-face interaction skills with other volunteer as well as donors.
Johns River Valley youth mission camp
For more than three summers while in school I attended Johns River Valley, a mission camp captered to youth who served in out reach of the grater Ashville area. Projects included river restoration as well a labor jobs and assisting in food banks.
